Lighting for architects & designers · Miami
Light shapes how architecture is experienced. We work alongside architects, interior designers and lighting designers to translate a concept into a coordinated lighting solution, from the first material palette to the final scene.
Our role adapts to your project: developing the lighting design with our in-house team, or supporting an independent lighting designer through specification, product selection, technical coordination and supply. The design intent remains the point of reference.
From Miami and Lima, we support projects in South Florida, the Bahamas, Peru and Bolivia, connecting creative decisions with product performance, budget and the realities of construction.
Explore atmosphere, focal points and the relationship between light, materials and architecture. Develop the concept with our team or bring your own lighting designer into the collaboration.
Coordinate optics, color temperature, color rendering, finishes and installation details. Select architectural and decorative luminaires that support the design and its practical requirements.
Study light levels and distribution, review glare and coordinate luminaires with ceilings, millwork and other building systems before those details reach site.
Compare alternatives openly, including the visual and technical tradeoffs. Align the specification with the budget and approval process while protecting the priorities of the design.
Develop bespoke lighting solutions and coordinate the technical requirements of dynamic or interactive façades, bringing the architectural concept into the lighting details.
Connect lighting intent with scenes, dimming and control interfaces. Support commissioning and fine-tuning so that the finished space can be experienced as designed.

For the Chanel store at Jockey Plaza, Luminicos collaborated with Canadian studio ThinkL Studio, adapting the lighting design to the local context and coordinating iGuzzini luminaires. The project combined a consistent 4000 K color temperature with a color rendering index of 90 to present the products accurately.
